Osseous Surgery
One of the earliest signs of gum disease is increasing space between the teeth and gums. These pockets allow the buildup of plaque and tartar that can lead to periodontal disease. Osseous surgeries are the removal of infected gum tissue and reattachment to the teeth in order to diminish the size of pockets between teeth and gums.
